Went lunching with Bella & Jes this noon.While lunching, Bella striked a topic on how her cousin used to have a stall selling "shun gui", fried bee hoon, dessert and business was brisk. However, her cousin subsequently rented the stall out & eventually sold the license due to health problems. Bella was mentioning what a pity that was & if she were to know about that, she would definitely buy over from her cousin & start her own business.
I started relating back to Po Po's stall selling ''油炸鬼". Pretty similar to what Bella has been telling. All along, I've been dreaming of helping out in a family stall when family members all come together to mend the business that had been set up painstakingly by po po & gong gong. Sadly, no one takes over. And just like what Bella's cousin had did, the stall & license was sold eventually.
What a shame.. If only i am able to take over..
Jes was saying how tough it can been, waking up early.. However both Bella & me agreed it is all 'bout what we like & wanted to do.
After all, this is me. Not ambitious, would not want nor know how to fight for fame, authority, power. In the eyes of many, probably the kind of 'Kampong' type. Don't fly high?
Right before lunch, Bella mentioned that she wanted to buy Toto.
Therefore, after lunch, we went to the Toto booth. Aiming for the chance to win 10 million this friday (Bella said so lah.. haha... Monday if i do not get to see her, that means she has striked lor.. Bella said so too... *LOL*)
I bought my first 2 Toto tickets. If i were to win, i can probably really go and sell "油炸鬼".. lol...
